Conventional Radiotherapy requires an elementary method of radiation therapy planning. The treatment is delivered after calculating the physical dose required. Cancer cells are destroyed using high-energy X-rays and this method of radiotherapy results in less damage normal cells. Conventional Radiotherapy treatment is usually given in combination with chemotherapy to ready cancer cells, thus increasing their propensity to experience harm from radiation.
