Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Our programme improves bodily functions after an injury. It treats people with musculoskeletal pain, post-fracture stiffness, reduced functions, arthritis and backache. The treatment can last as long as the patient needs and is fit enough to lead a normal life.

  • Back and neck rehabilitation

Back and neck rehabilitation offers evidence-based practice which consists of pain modalities for management of pain, mobilisation techniques to reduce stiffness and exercises with ergonomic advice to prevent further injury.

  • Degenerative and overuse injuries

Exercise therapy plays a vital role in age-related degenerative conditions like hip and knee osteoarthritis and frozen shoulder. It also helps in preventing overuse injuries like planter fasciitis, tennis elbow, etc.

  • Post-Surgical Therapy

Physical rehabilitation plays an important role after ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy, total knee and hip replacements and in post-fracture cases to improve quality of life post surgery.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

The purpose of cardiac rehabilitation is to physically aid the health of someone who has a cardiac history. This is done via exercise and lifestyle changes. With the help of telemetric system, an ECG is recorded and after evaluation a rehabilitation programme is scheduled. The circuit training includes treadmill, cycle ergometre and weight-training exercises. It is a scientifically based exercise prescription. We help patients suffering from hypertension, chest pain, valvular heart disease, heart transplant, congenital heart disease and patients that have undergone coronary artery bypass graft.

Cardiac rehabilitation educates patients about their condition and guides them on the dos and don’ts for faster recovery. It helps you make the right lifestyle changes thus reducing further risks and as a result improves your quality of life. The treatment can last as long as the patient needs and is fit to lead a good quality of life.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary rehabilitation is for patients suffering from pulmonary diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, chronic bronchitis, interstitial lung disease and combined cardiopulmonary disease. We aim to improve the physical and psychological health of the patient. It educates one about their pulmonary condition thus helping them understand the do and don’ts of improving quality of life. The pulmonary rehabilitation clinic offers facilities such as separate areas for postural drainage, oxygen therapy, nebulisation and monitored exercise systems, i.e. treadmills, ergocycles, and steppers.

Neurological Rehabilitation

This programme is for people suffering from pathological conditions related to the brain and spinal cord like stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Guillain-Barré syndrome, facial palsy and peripheral neuropathy. Neurorehabilitation helps patients increase and improve their cognitive and physical disabilities by educating them about their abilities. At the neurorehabilitation clinic we offer services like strength, mobility, balance and coordination training.
