Joint Replacement

Due to age or injury, the joints in your body encounter damage. This causes severe pain and makes simple activities like walking, sitting or climbing stairs very hard. If non-surgical treatments are not effective, Joint replacement surgery can be performed on various joints of your body – commonly the hip (Hip Replacement Surgery) and the knee joint (Total Knee Replacement surgery) to relieve your pain.

Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a procedure performed to visualise, diagnose and treat problems inside the joints. Most often, this procedure is done to examine the abnormalities inside six major joints of the body - the knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, ankles, and hips. Generally, it is used to identify the cause of problems like persistent joint pain, swelling or stiffness and also when other scanning procedures don’t yield clear results. It is also very effective in assessing the level of damage in the joint caused by an accidental fall or sports injury. Conditions treated through Arthroscopy include damaged or torn cartilage, scarring within joints, joint infections, torn ligaments, loose bone fragments, and inflamed joint linings.
