Dr. Deepak P Kumar has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Radiation Oncology. He did his MD from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital which was followed by 3 years of extensive and rigorous training as a senior resident at the same institute.

He worked as an associate consultant and helped in setting the department of Radiation Oncology with at Sir HN Reliance foundation hospital, Mumbai. He worked as a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Fortis Hospital - Mulund, Mumbai for almost three and half years.

He has publications in acclaimed international and national journals.

He was also selected for young scientist's award session at Second European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) forum April 2013, Geneva. His area of interest consist of Chemo-radiation protocols in Head and Neck cancers, Breast cancer, Prostate cancer, Brain tumors, Gynaecological malignancies, Lymphomas and Pediatric tumors, high precision radiotherapy techniques like SRS/SBRT/RAPID ARC and adaptive Radiotherapy and Gating for thoracic and GI malignancie Brachytherapy for Gynaecological and head and neck malignancies.
